SHAMPOO BAR - ALMOND BLOSSOM - More Information & INCI

A shampoo bar is made by making it in a solid form - you simply skip the water and instead make a solid concentrated bar that you lather up in the shower.
A shampoo bar last like two or three 250 ml bottles of liquid shampoo.
So we skip the water and no plastic bottles!

Shampoo bars should not be confused with shampoo soap. A shampoo bar has the correct pH value right from the start and does not need any acid rinse after washing that a shampoo soap needs.

The base of this organic shampoo is the mild anionic surfactant SCI (Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate) which is gentle for the skin and hair. It is extracted from the coconut and is biodegradable.

To give the shampoo extra caring caracteristics we have added:

Argan Oil - Moisturizes and gives hair shine. Effective for the care of dry, damaged and volatile hair.

Cocoa butter - Rejuvenates the hair and nourishes the scalp.

White kaolin clay - Kaolin clay is rich in silicon which strengthens the hair and also gives a detox effect.

Panthenol - Provitamin B5 is a nourishing and moisturizing ingredient that also provides strength and shine to the hair.

Lactic acid - Make the shampoo getting the right pH (4.5-5.5).

Silk protein - A protein that is very nourishing and strengthening and gives extra shine.

We have also added a mixture of hydrogenated esters and hydrogenated squalene from Olive oil to form an organic and natural silicone substitute.

Finally, we have scented it with a phthalate-free fragrance oil (manufactured in the EU by the IFRA-certified perfume factory) with a lovely sweet scent of Almond and Almond Blossom.

The bar should be stored at normal room temperature and dried between uses so it last longer.

Instruction: Soak the shampoo bar under lukewarm water for a few seconds. Massage the shampoo in your hands or pull the cake directly into wet hair and wash twice. Rinse well and then let the bar dry.
